Welcome to our ONLINE store and blog.
Every Monday and Friday we invite you behind the scenes to the people places and things that inspire us. This week we introduce you artist Lorien Stern. Being that our Melamine Collection is so colorful we are so drawn to objects that make us smile and that are vibrating with color.
Lorien Stern is a full time artist living in Inyokern, California, a small town in the Western Mojave Desert. She makes ceramic art and runs a small brand consisting of clothing, home goods, and accessories.
Her goal as an artist is to make people feel happy when they see her work with subjects related to nature, celebration, and death. She received her BFA from California College of the Arts in 2013 as an Individualized Major.
As we head into the new year we think it's imperative you find things that make you smile buy them and put them in your home. Each time you pass the wall mounted art piece it will make you smile.
As supporters of wildlife everywhere we encourage everyone in place of game hunting safari its a lot more fun contacting Lorien for a custom made huge ceramic wall mount animal head.
Below you will see Lorien's Alligator. As new Florida residents we are so aware of where our dogs roam to as wherever there is water there is a Crocodile or Alligator.
