Artist and Lighting Designer Magda Jurek
Welcome to our ONLINE STORE and blog.
Every Monday and Friday we take you behind the scenes to the people places and things that inspire us. This week we introduce you to a lighting designer that I came across on Pintrest and reached out to, however, she is located in Poland.
This Monday, being inauguration week in America we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel to a fresh 4 years of light and love for everyone with empathy for the globe that has be ridden over covid-19.
When you think Poland, design doesn't usually come to mind. We are always up for pleasant surprises that remind us be it not Italy or France people located in other countries equally are able to tap into the zeitgeist providing us with inspiration, product and design that we can all light up our lives with.

Pani Jurek was founded by Magda Jurek, an artist and designer. She graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and brings a conceptual approach to her work with the aim of creating products which are not obvious and not standard.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum are these playful lamps by Pani Jurek, the studio of the Polish designer. They’re made of glazed ceramic and are inspired by the paintings of the late Polish artist Jan Tarasin.
She designs products which you can changed and rearranged with space and which also awaken your own creativity. She is also an advocate sustainability. Pani Jurek was also a co-founder of the Association "Based in Warsaw" which was set up to achieve social design as well as design for public areas.
